The main adventage of enculding meta tags in any website is that Meta tags connects the consumers with the additional, high-quality information to increase clickthrough rates and click-through rates (CTR) on search results and to improve their experience on the website (Blog.hubspot, 2022). Here are some additional benefits of using metatags strengthening keywords, improving internal linking, ordering of page structure (Ignisdev, 2022).

Despite the fact that meta tags have a significant value in term of giving any induvial the best experience in any SEO, there are some disadvantages. For instance, depending on how each search engine interprets the search, you may see unsuitable results, in addition to that Difficult to limit searches, Search engine coverage (Kulkarni, 2019)

In order to overcome the disadvantages of using metatags extensively, here are some thing that should kept in mind when dealing with them:

Words or phrases to be used as tags should be universal enough to be assigned to many articles, the list of tags within a page should be limited by common sense and needs, word variant, synonym, close word as consecutive tags on the site are not indicated, Tag URLs should be short, legible, and clear to the user, creating unique descriptions for particular tags (Ignisdev, 2022).
