E-commers Definition

First of all the, E-business and e-commerce are commonly used synonymously. Furthermore E_commerce is also known with The term "e-tail" which is also used to describe the transactional procedures that go into online retail buying.

To define E-commerce, E-commerce, often known as electronic commerce, is the purchasing, selling, or sending of goods and services through an electronic network, most commonly the internet (Techtarget, 2022).

One of the main factors that helped to change the position of e-commerce in the market is that the 2020's COVID-19 epidemic allowed e-commerce to see a sharp increase. According to the U.S. Census Bureau (U.S.Bureau, 2022), e-commerce increased by a record 16.4 percent in the second quarter of 2020 as a result of consumers being cooped up in their homes for prolonged periods of time.
